PLANTING & TRANSPLANTING

Artistree understands the challenges of planting trees urban landscapes. We assist and consult in the selection of trees, developing our process to ensure tree health, longevity and aesthetic outcomes are achieved. The planting process all begins with the soil structure and water supply which together are the most important components of tree planting and contribute most to vigorous root and leaf growth. Poor soil conditions limit planting success. Poor soil structure in many urban environments require special amendments to improve initial establishment and long term survival.

With specialist knowledge in species selection for a proposed sight, be it for a hedge, screen, flowers or a feature tree,
Artistree sources small shrubs to established trees from the best suppliers. Post planting management plans can be implemented to monitor tree health and make adjustments to the soil and environment as the tree grows with your garden. Planting is a process which requires attention to detail and is ultimately an investment which will pay dividends for years.

Transplanting large mature trees requires great skill and knowledge of species and root systems. Our tree transplanting service takes great care to ensure that your mature tree can be transplanted successfully to its new sight. Specialty techniques are used to move large trees and Artistree takes great care and passion in doing so. Preparation of root balls, soil conditions and timing of transplanting large trees are key components to transplant success. Watering, fertilisation, mulching and pruning are all services we offer in a program for post tree transplant maintenance.

SOIL PREPARATION
